Virginia Beach, Va., drone services company DroneUp is expanding beyond the skies to build out its delivery ecosystem with a kiosk package pickup and drop-off system.

Drone delivery is no longer a thing of the future. It’s happening in Hampton Roads, Va., and soon, at Walmart stores across the country.

DroneUp, the sole drone partner of Walmart, announced plans to expand its headquarters and establish a research and training facility outside Petersburg, Va., creating 655 new jobs.
