Diesel Slips 1.6¢ to $2.976 a Gallon

The U.S. average retail price of diesel fell 1.6 cents to $2.976 as the price of a barrel of crude slipped to $61 as analysts expected U.S. production to continue at a high level. Trucking’s main fuel has seen five consecutive declines totaling 11 cents.
